Socure, the leading AI-native trust infrastructure for global identity and risk intelligence, announced it has been chosen by Binance.US, a U.S. digital-asset exchange, to strengthen identity verification, fraud prevention and compliance for customer onboarding. Socure now works with four of the five largest U.S. crypto exchanges, reflecting a broader maturation of the market as organizations invest in the infrastructure required to support trustworthy users without friction while meeting rising expectations for security and regulatory compliance.

Stablecoins are helping expand digital assets into payments, financial services and other higher-volume use cases, bringing more attention to the controls that underpin trusted participation. For exchanges, market maturity is increasingly measured not only by trading functionality, but also by the ability to verify customers quickly, identify risk accurately and protect accounts throughout the customer lifecycle.

Under the agreement, Binance.US will use Socure's identity verification, document and selfie verification, liveness, watchlist screening and fraud prevention capabilities to support a mobile-first U.S. onboarding experience. Socure's RiskOS® platform will provide a configurable decisioning layer bringing identity, device, behavioral, phone, email and fraud signals together in a unified workflow, helping Binance.US apply the right level of assurance to each customer and risk scenario.

As crypto companies mature, identity is becoming a core operating layer rather than a one-time compliance checkpoint. The platforms that earn lasting trust will be the ones that make onboarding frictionless for trustworthy customers, maintain control over changing risks, and adapt as new threats emerge. Socure is bringing that identity and risk infrastructure to the organizations building the next generation of digital finance.

“Identity verification is one of the first things our customers experience, and first experiences set the tone for everything that comes next," said Stephen Gregory, Chief Executive Officer of Binance.US. “Socure will help us welcome legitimate customers at scale, with the speed they expect and the rigor our industry requires.”

“Four of the five largest U.S. crypto exchanges now run on Socure. This concentration exists because crypto and stablecoin operations stopped being a compliance checkbox to become a growth constraint,” said Johnny Ayers, Co-Founder and CEO of Socure. “Binance.US isn’t buying a KYC vendor. We’ve partnered together to allow them to say yes faster than fraud can adapt in leveraging our trust infrastructure as a growth lever for their business.”

The collaboration expands Socure’s role in the digital-asset market, where companies are moving from rapid customer acquisition toward durable, compliant growth while continuing to reduce friction. By connecting identity verification, fraud prevention and risk decisioning in one operating layer, Socure empowers crypto platforms to respond to evolving threats without forcing legitimate users through unnecessary steps or requiring risk teams to manage disconnected workflows.
