SpaceX just reported like an AI company.

Q3 revenue jumped 161% to $14.58B, well past the $12.72B analysts expected. Net income hit $4.4B, against a $1.05B loss a year earlier.

The engine is AI, which SpaceX now calls “Super Intelligence.”

Its revenue grew ninefold to $7.56B, mostly from renting out computing capacity.

That growth isn’t cheap: AI took $16.4B of $19.6B in capital spending. Then came the bigger headline.

Musk called a Tesla merger a “good idea” and said both boards have formed special committees to discuss it.

Barclays thinks a combined company could be worth about $3.6 trillion. SpaceX shares rose 8.5% before the market opened.
