Brent crude futures fell 1.90% to $107.85 a barrel and WTI dropped 1.57% to $97.49.
That followed a week in which oil gained nearly 5%, and Brent briefly hit $110 on Friday, its highest level since May.
The pullback came as Trump temporarily paused certain sanctions and tariff measures on Russia. Supply risks persist, with attacks on ships in the Persian Gulf increasing and Ukraine and Russia trading strikes on energy infrastructure.
